Get fit and healthy with Mamau Ffit's Run Ffit Programme for the New Year. Week 8 session will be on Saturday 8th March @ 9am as we join Parkrun for a 5k From 1 minute interval jogs to 30 minutes of steady, paced running by week 8, this is the programme to build stamina, confidence and skills for outdoor running. This 8-week progressive course is perfect for ladies and Mums who want to learn to run and is safe to do so postnatally from around 16-20 weeks pp* Whether you've never run before, are looking at returning to returning or just want to do something a bit different with a group of like-minded ladies, this programme will get you ready to run a 5k or further over the 2 months. Expect specialist running warm up and stretching tips, postnatal exercise guidance and advice and an organised and methodical approach to building fitness levels over the 8 weeks alongside a supportive community, weekly set homework to ensure you achieve your target and a private running group to motivate each other. The final week you will get the opportunity to be guided around a designated 5k Parkrun route to complete your 30 minute goal or finish the 5k if you feel you're up to it! Maximum of 14 ladies per programme only *It is recommended all newly postnatal clients complete Baby Ffit: Recover Programme prior to this to ensure an adequate level of core, pelvic floor and full body strength.
